Martini‘s research is meant to glorify the pivotal characteristics of painting. He experiments on procedures, durations and materials in compositions built in phases that are registered and visually rendered through non-programmed and unique layers of matter. Inside the space defined by the support, a packed admixture of happenings can be read. The operations activated by the artist allow for the amount of chromatic mass to express different transformations, in light of their physical and chemical character. At the same time, the space and time of work are almost recorded by the piece, which absorbs nearby materials and gestures.
a special thanks goes to our partner DB Group for the handling of the artwork’s transportation inside the exhibit.
