public meeting and debates

For the second consecutive year, in the Municipality of Forni di Sopra (Udine, IT), Dolomiti Contemporanee curates a day of public meetings and reflections focused on Contemporary Mountain Landscapes.
On its debut, in August 2014, the great anthropologist Marc Augé was invited to spoke to the public; his speech dealt with such themes as the man as creator of his landscape, memory and presence, contemporary ruins. His speech was entitled “The man is the territory ” (original title “L’uomo è il territorio”), and it’s available in Italian and French at this link (here a short video-interview to Marc Augè in DC).

This year Paesaggi Contemporanei will still be held in Forni di Sopra, in the Central Square of the town.
