September the 5th, open studio with progettoborca at the Colonia

On Saturday, September the 5th ,  Dolomiti Contemporanee (DC) proposes a new Open Studio with Progettoborca. The “construction  site” of Terraformazione 2015 (the title of our current season) is in full swing, and the artworks that are being produced during these weeks inside the former Eni Village of Borca di Cadore, where the artist Residency is active now. During the course of the Open studio, it will thus be possible to take part in a guided tour of the enormous compound that makes up the Colonia, where, ever since last year, the project of regeneration launched by DC in collaboration with Minoter is being carried out. Some never before seen artworks will be presented, and the projects and labs currently in the works will be introduced as well.

The guided tour will begin at 3 PM, in the offices of Progettoborca (here the directions you’ll need to get there), and will continue until about 6 PM.
From 6 PM, sounds from the Bear’s Cage.
From 4 PM to 7 PM, it will be possible for people to visit the Church of Our Lady of the Cadore.

-Workshops and labs currently being carried out, and in-progress projects: Slovenian Pavilion: Vanja Mervič, Luka Širok, Aleksander Velišček, Špela Volčic (with the patronage of the Slovenian Ministry of Culture); “Repair and Taking Care” Workshop, curated by Marta Allegri (with the patronage of the Fine Arts Academy of Venice, and featuring the students Bruno Amplatz, Rob van der Berg, Sofia Bonato, Cristina Calderoni, Ilaria Fasoli, Annamaria Maccapani, Miriam Montani, Aran Ndimurwanko, Giulia Sacchetto, Giovanni Sartori, and the professor Riccardo Caldura); “Artisti Atelier Giudecca” project, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa (Enej Gala, Francesco Nordio, Miriam Secco, Matteo Stocco, Annalisa Zegna); Giorgio Barrera, Giuseppe Caccavale, Simone Cametti, Barbara De Ponti, Giovanni Gaggia, Domenico Antonio Mancini, Filippo Manzini, Roberto Paci Dalò, Kai-Uwe Shulte-Bunert.

3 PM: reception in the new offices of Progettoborca: start of the Colonia visit and Open Studio.
