Although the artist has a background in photography, she currently concerns herself mostly with recounting the cinematographic potential of writing. To do that, she makes use of both the technique of narration and that of the intervention of a narrating voice to create an unusual and surprising dimension, in which words turned sounds conjure up mental images alternating between reality and fiction, present and future.
Through her direct voice intervention, a procedure often found in her audio works, publications, and readings, she acts like a guide, adding to words and meanings, and transforming them into visions, with the aim of underlining the different themes proposed each time (“..so deep and dark when the burnt trees reflect themselves onto the iced water..”, from Swirl).
