The piece finds its expression in the border between painting and sculpture, and explores different schemes of fruition, focusing on the articulation of the cognitive processes in relation to environment, culture and emotions. The artist paints on industrial filters, on which the brush can’t glide freely: she avails herself of rags and sponges to transfer color inside the tight knitting on the surface, which often breaks and tears. The colour is dragged through a landscape of outcroppings that make painting an authentic, individual moment. It also extends outside the subject, and it’s the visual sum of all the images registered by the eyes, which becomes the tale of a common emotion linked to a shared time and territory.
