“One of the small aisles of the Pavione building has housed the complex installation ‘Minime’ by Barbara Taboni. The dialogue between sculpture and drawing, the idea of building some sort of private theatre made of contingent sedimentations of objects one biographically comes across, are starter points far from unprecedented in contemporary art. But what really matters is that Taboni was able to effectively build a thick web full of relationships between the sheer amount of exposed elements, negating every paratactic aspect and instilling in the spectator the desire to follow the thin threads between a drawn body and a figurine. The very idea of exposition is effectively called into question: the all-over design, the light glass frames that support those little sculptures, as they were knick knacks, end up deploying a paradigm that is, however, the potentially infinite expansion of a web of relationships in which the self is scattered all over. The obsessive identification goes hand in hand with an ubiquitous and infinitely multiplied projection. Miniature is dissemination, and the projection of the drawing, as a study of the body, rises to one of the many ineffable points of this theatre of objectification. […]“
