On Saturday the 21st of September, a new collective exhibit will be inaugurated in the Nuovo Spazio Espositivo di Casso (PN). The exhibit, with the title Upokeimenon, has water as its theme, intended as a founding and generative power. The liquid element is analyzes, unfolded, represented, through the works of 13 artists. The main body of the exhibit will be at Casso, and will remain open until 27th of October. Inside it, a site-specific project, realized through the Residence, will be developed with the joint effort of Michele Gabriele, T-Yong Chung and Jonathan Vivacqua (Chunga-wacra). The exhibit is completed and enriched by some meaningful partnerships. The first one with Trieste Next, European Science Research Forum, whose theme for its 2013 edition is Waterwise. This collaboration with the Trieste Municipality has lead Dolomiti Contemporanee to work directly inside the Marine Aquarium of Trieste, where Daniela Di Maro and Dimitri Giannina will come into direct connection with the architectural structure of the Museum and with its living collection. The inauguration of the section of the exhibit found in Trieste, which is included in the Next Off program, will take place Saturday 28th of September, at 17:30, at Panorama Giustinelli (here more information). Another partnership was started with NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano, via La Piave, itinerant workshop along the Piave river, part of the Mater Paesaggi straordinari, created by Elisabetta Bianchessi, Alessandro Mason and Alessio Guarino. This collaboration has already produces, the past 3rd of September, the performance Gli Esseri Viventi (The Living Beings), by Enrico Vezzi, whose work will be taken up again, and developed inside the exhibit of Casso.
